Sydney Sixers reached the final of the Champions
League Twenty20 after they defeated Titans by two wickets in the second
semi-final at Centurion on Friday.
Chasing a stiff 164-run target, Sixers got home off the final ball.
The Australia outfit slumped to 132-7 but a valuable 26 runs for the eighth wicket between Ben Rohrer (21) and Pat Cummins (14 not out) revived their hopes.
Openers Michael Lumb (33) and Steve O'Keefe (32) provide the perfect start with 54 runs in five overs but they soon slumped to 92-4 after a couple of needless run-outs.
That allowed the Titans back into the contest before Rohrer and Cummins came together.
The winners will meet South African side Highveld Lions in the final on Sunday.
Giant-killers Lions pulled off a shock 22-run win over Delhi Daredevils in the first semi-final at Kingsmead in Durban on Thursday.
Earlier, quickfire half-centuries from David Wiese and Henry Davids powered the Titans to a formidable total of 163 for five.
Wiese and Davids, scoring 61 not out and 59 not out respectively across an unbroken 81-run stand in 6.3 overs, rescued their side from the initial fragility of 82 for five.
The duo shared nine fours and seven sixes, collectively clouting 57 runs from the final three overs of the innings.
