It was probably this one platform where Sachin Tendulkar didn`t have a presence. But not anymore, as the Master Blaster made his Facebook debut on Monday morning. And what more, he already has 4,07,908 and counting, of course likes in a matter of hours.
Tendulkar had earlier created an internet stampede of a sort when he had made an an entry to the Twitter world in 2010, leaving behind the likes of popular celeb twitter on the very first day. AT present the cricketer has a following 26,80,791 on his twitter handle @sachin_rt.
The page facebook.com/SachinTendulkar will have Tendulkar interacting with his fans, through posts and videos as well, apart from giving an update of his matches. The page will also have some exclusive pictures of the cricketer.
In his Facebook page, he has wished the Under-19 World Cup winning team and has also praised them for playing great cricket in Australia. He also talks about his journey and how he finally got to realise his dream of lifting the World Cup after 22 years of playing cricket.
The cricket maestro has also talked about Yuvraj Singh and hailed comeback to cricket after fighting against a cancerous tumor. "To me Yuvi is a champion, once a champion will always be a champion. I was really happy that he got the Man of the Series, Man of the tournament in the World Cup and then yes, he had health problems," wrote Tendulkar on his page.
