Yuvraj Singh seems to be more fit and lean as his first international trip approaches. "I feel like it's the first game for me. I'm nervous. I never thought that I will have another chance," Yuvraj said at the launch of the India team shirt, created by clothing sponsor Nike exclusively for the format Twenty20.
Yuvraj has been chosen to play in both games against New Zealand T20 next month and the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka that follows. MS Dhoni captain says that "the team is in shape, physically and mentally," and that the break for a month and a half before the short ODI series in Sri Lanka was a "healthy". "There were breaks between each set in Sri Lanka too."
The captain was in Mumbai to launch the t-shirt with Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Irfan Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Rahane Ajinkya and. The dry-fit shirt, 43% lighter than what the team was already using, is a shade darker than the team from India used in the format of 50 years.
